About J.R. Guzmán

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, J.R. Guzmán is proud of his Mexican American heritage and Latino cultural background. He brings his English and Spanish bilingual skills, sunny personality, and highly contagious laugh to his voiceover work. Specializing in Commercial and eLearning Voiceover, you can hear his various voiceprints in his demos and in his national spots for clients like Reddit and Indeed.

 

Since 2018, J.R. has taken numerous VO training classes at schools such as VoiceOne in San Francisco, The Voice Actors Studio (TVAS) in Las Vegas, and RealVoiceLA in Los Angeles. He has been fortunate to train with VO coaches such as Elaine Clark, Jeff Howell, Tina Morasco, Mary Lynn Wissner, Everett Oliver, Melissa Moats, Andrea Balsa, Tom Dheere, Brandon Perry, Craig Lee Thomas, Bob Bergen, and Dave Fennoy.  

J.R. has many talents, including a professional background in Human Resources where he helps employees leverage learning opportunities to better themselves and their global teams. J.R. is ready to bring his sense of fun and relatability to your voiceover projects!
